HVAC in East Jefferson
Mid-century neighborhoods
Much of Metairie and Kenner was built in the decades after WWII. Many homes are on their second or third system, and some ductwork and equipment placement date back further than the unit itself.
Tight lots
Outdoor units often sit in narrow side yards next to fences and neighbors’ walls. Good airflow around the condenser matters for efficiency, and it’s part of the full system inspection on every maintenance visit.
Heat that doesn’t let up
Pavement and dense neighborhoods hold heat into the evening. If your system runs all night and still can’t catch up, it’s time for a diagnostic visit.
